Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how QALens AI uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar local storage features built into your browser.
2. Cookies we use
- Essential — required for the site to work. These keep you signed in, store your free-preview session counter, protect forms with CSRF tokens, and remember your cookie choice. Essential cookies cannot be turned off.
- Analytics (optional) — if enabled in the future, these would help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We will only set them if you choose Accept all in the cookie banner.
3. Your choice
The first time you visit, we show a small banner with two options:
- Accept all — allows essential cookies and any optional analytics cookies.
- Reject non-essential — only essential cookies are used.
Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not reappear
every visit. To change your choice, clear the cookie/local-storage entry
named qalens_cookie_consent in your browser settings and
reload the page.
4. Third-party services
Some third-party services we use (for example, Google sign-in, Google reCAPTCHA on our public forms, or, when introduced, Stripe for payments) may set their own cookies on the pages they appear on. Those cookies are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant providers. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our login, registration, and email-capture forms from automated abuse and is loaded only on those pages.
