Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QALens AI (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
QALens AI is an AI-powered QA assistant. You submit input — a description, a pull-request diff, a screenshot, or a voice note — and the Service returns a short, actionable QA checklist with risks, recommended tests, and missing scenarios.
2. Accounts
- You can use a limited free preview without signing up.
- To unlock additional usage, you must create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to share.
- Submit unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.
- Attempt to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Use the Service to spam, scrape, or impersonate others.
- Bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process that content (including via AI provider sub-processors) to generate your QA checklist and operate the Service.
5. AI output and AI processing
QA checklists are produced by AI models and are provided "as is". They are a helpful starting point, not a substitute for human judgment, code review, or formal QA. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any checklist before relying on it.
To generate a QA checklist, the content you submit (text, code diffs, screenshots, voice recordings) is processed by automated AI systems, including third-party AI service providers acting as our data processors. Those providers may process your input under their own terms and privacy policies. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of provider categories and how the data is handled.
Do not submit content you are not authorised to share, or content containing secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal data.
6. Free preview and paid plans
- Anonymous visitors get a small number of free analyses per browser session.
- Free accounts get additional usage subject to limits we may change over time.
- Paid plans (when introduced) will be billed through Stripe. Pricing, features, and billing cycles for paid plans will be shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party provider outages, or factors outside our control.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, QALens AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid us.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms over time. Material changes to the Terms will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to QALens AI's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Contact
QALens AI is operated by an independent developer based in Cyprus. For inquiries, contact contact@qalens.ai.
